RIPE NCC Open House: 2024 Community Projects Fund Recipients
This RIPE NCC Open House session showcased the 2024 Community Projects Fund (CPF) recipients. This was a great opportunity to learn about the latest projects funded through the CPF, explore their progress and impact, and interact with the teams behind them.

The 2024 CPF recipients and their projects include:
- Petros Gkigkis - OpenPenny - An open-source tool to identify non-spoofed traffic
- Melchior Aelmans - Open Source Distributed Symmetric Key Exchange Implementation
- Anna Maria Mandalari - Policy Certification and Verification for Cybersecurity in the Internet of Things (IoT)
- Pere Barlet-Ros - GuardXP: From Data Privacy to Improved Cybersecurity
- Soroush Rafiee Rad - Open Domain Rank: A Community-Developed Measure for Domain Reputation Ranking Based on Unique Identifiers’ Relationship
Each project team delivered a presentation, followed by a Q&A session.
Additionally, we discussed the decision to pause the CPF for 2025 and shared insights about the fund's future direction.
