Training and Certification
A key part of our work has always been supporting our members through learning and development opportunities across our service region, through both e-learning courses and in-person training courses. Relevant skills and awareness of best practices help our members make informed decisions and vastly improved their networks.

Learning Opportunities
If you are a RIPE NCC member, in-person training courses are included in your membership.
Once you take the exam, you will be able to see your results immediately. If you pass, you will receive a digital badge you can display to your network! Please note that all of our exams are in English, for the time being.
We offer training in a variety of formats, including:
- In-person training courses across our service region (see upcoming in-person training courses here)
- Live webinars
- Self-paced e-learning courses (including bite-sized microlearnings on ping, traceroute, packet switching and RPKI)
Learning Topics
We offer our members and all interested learners trainers a chance to get certified on:
- IPv6
- Routing
- Measurements and Tools (RIPE Atlas and the RIPE Database)
- Internet Registry
- Internet Governance
Vouchers
If you are a RIPE NCC member, you are entitled to three exam vouchers per year for each LIR that you hold, as part of your membership benefits. To learn more about how our vouchers work, visit our RIPE NCC Academy Vouchers page.
