The RIPE Community
RIPE is a forum open to everyone interested in the operation of the Internet. Since 1989, it has brought together people and communities to share information and ideas, discuss best common practices, and carry out technical coordination work.

Why a feature introduced for a handful of members became one of the RIPE NCC's most complex operational challenges.
Ten years of DNS measurements reveal three trends across the Internet's most popular domains: email continues to consolidate around two providers, DMARC enforcement has hit a plateau, and a surprisingly large long tail of infrastructure defies easy classification.
It's only ARP. It works. So how much can it really matter? The answer lies beyond ARP itself, in the IPv4 layer cake that grew around it over four decades. The IPv4 internet is not going away in bounded time, and nobody should pretend otherwise.

About the RIPE NCC
We're an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation that supports the infrastructure of the Internet through technical coordination in our service region. Our most prominent activity is to act as the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) providing global Internet resources and related services (IPv4, IPv6 and AS Number resources) to members in our service region.
Our membership consists mainly of Internet service providers (ISPs), telecommunication organisations and large corporations located in Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia.
We also provide services for the benefit of the Internet community at large.
