Government Roundtable Meeting, Bahrain, 26 September 2017

The RIPE NCC organised a Roundtable Meeting for the Arab Ministries of Communications and Information Technology and Arab ICT Regulatory Authorities on the opportunities and challenges faced by the Internet sector and their impact on the Arab countries' economy and security. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 26 September 2017, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Manama, Bahrain.

Topics that were discussed included key issues and policies for the development of the Internet, challenges and means of protection against the cyber threats and risks faced by governments and Internet service providers.
