From 2-4 March 2020, we joined forces with the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) in Oman to host a three-day training workshop as part of our collaboration on capacity development.

On 11 December 2019, we sponsored and participated to the annual e-AGE international conference organised by the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) in Abu Dhabi.

The RIPE Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC), in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in United Arab Emirates, organised a roundtable discussion dedicated to Arab ICT ministries and regulators on ‘The Role of Arab Governments in Internet Development.’ The discussion put the spotlight on current opportunities and challenges in the Middle East in managing Internet resources and highlighted new developments in the region.

Today, at 15:35 (UTC+1) on 25 November 2019, we made our final /22 IPv4 allocation from the last remaining addresses in our available pool. We have now run out of IPv4 addresses.
