RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2019 Voting Report

The RIPE NCC General Meeting took place from 22-24 May 2019.

The RIPE NCC is the operator of the e164.arpa zone (ENUM) and maintains the associate registry in accordance with the instructions of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB). As delegations are based on e164 country code allocations, any changes to the registry are coordinated with and approved by the respective holders of the E.164 country code via the ITU’s Telecommunications Standardisation Bureau (TSB).

The RIPE NCC and the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in London on 28 March 2019.

The RIPE NCC received the following IPv6 allocation from IANA on 13 March 2019: 2001:3c00::/22 In 2004, IANA reserved this block for possible future allocation to the RIPE NCC. We requested this specific prefix because it completes a block previously allocated to the RIPE NCC:
