Dear colleagues, We have reviewed the case under discussion. While the RIPE NCC cannot share private details relating to specific members, we can confirm that membership was approved in full compliance with our documented due diligence procedures: https://www.ripe.net/publications/docs/ripe-556 In this case, the RIPE NCC requested and received the documentation required to ensure the existence of the organisation and to prove the identity of the person signing the Standard Service Agreement. Following the discussions on this mailing list, the RIPE NCC will review its due diligence procedures and report to the membership should they need to be updated in light of current events in our service region. Finally, and as indicated during these discussions, the RIPE NCC is the sole Regional Internet Registry for its service region. We must be careful to ensure that our services are available throughout the service region to network operators who are entitled to receive them, regardless of political disputes. Kind regards, Axel Pawlik Managing Director RIPE NCC
