This has nothing to do with politics for me, even though I fully understand why people might want to steer it in that direction to silence the matter. I still maintain RIPE NCC might perhaps have intentionally avoided an infected topic and approved it on rather questionable terms. Perhaps they had to, to maintain internet services in that region.
