Registering the domain, setting up the mailserver, etc is not enough,
IMHO. Whoever is behind this should just *try* it. And after having
successfully organized some meetings, with more than a dozend attendees
we will see.

Dont you think that just filtering the Mails should be sufficient?
Yes, in *his* case, he will have a hard time in getting enough people
actually bringing enough life to the group.

Currently yes. But as we all know there are always a lot of people
not comming to RIPE-meetings. For whatever reason. Possibly this
new thing gives them their forum.
The Person(s) behind euronog should show that this becomes more
than another mailinglist / webpage.
To my mind there is no point in making a big fuss about it or moking
about the initiators. They should show up with the group.
I don�t believe that we will see them at - lets say Ripe 46 - but
who knows?
