Looking at the numbers this obvious scaling issue doesn't hold people back to put it in. However it does create problems for people looking for information, especially the email address from the abuse desk responsible for that block. It scales on the LIR part, although there are more ways to do it, which are easier to maintain. Using a generic name and freeform content doesn't exactly help people to find the correct information exept when they actually read the complete whois output. And to repeat one of my sidenotes from the presentation, using <> to enclose the email address breaks a lot of webbased whois tools. Grtx, MarcoH
