Sorry ... you are of course right. The part after the semicolon should
be a URI, e.g.

- abuse contact per email http://www.space.net/abuse/rbl/ - web form to send a message to abuse (in case email is blocked or the like) however the semicolon and the URI should be optional but desired. There is RFC 1464 "Using the Domain Name System To Store Arbitrary String Attributes" which addresses storing of key=value pairs. However it does only define <owner> <class> <ttl> TXT "<attribute name>=<attribute value>" and seems not to allow more than one pair of information to be stored in on TXT record. So the <attribute name>=<attribute value> would be MTA=yes or MTA=no and the value may have an optional contact-URI seperated with a semicolon. > This actually sounds like a not-too-bad idea. Surely, feel free to spread the word ;-) I also thought about writing a IETF draft but I yet have to learn about the procedure ... \Maex P.S. I remember a X game I compiled and played about 15 years ago, where you had to move blocks around that changed colors and symbols and you had to clear the board of all blocks ... are you the same der Mouse who wrote the game and who was rather active in comp.windows.x ? If so it's nice to meet you again ;-) -- SpaceNet AG | Joseph-Dollinger-Bogen 14 | Fon: +49 (89) 32356-0 Research & Development | D-80807 Muenchen | Fax: +49 (89) 32356-299 "The security, stability and reliability of a computer system is reciprocally proportional to the amount of vacuity between the ears of the admin"
