On 29 May 2024, the RIPE NCC, in collaboration with ICANN and with the support of Inha University in Tashkent, organised the Internet Measurement Day in Uzbekistan. This event welcomed over 50 participants from government agencies, telecom operators, academia, and international organisations.

The event was opened by the high-level representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, the RIPE NCC, ICANN, and Inha University in Tashkent.

Internet Measurement Day, held for four years in Eastern and Central Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, focuses on promoting Internet research to ensure stable network development and operation, improving quality and security, particularly domain names, IP addresses, routing, and connectivity issues.
