RIPE NCC Security Report on "Shellshock" Bash Shell Bug
The RIPE NCC is highly committed to protecting our IT infrastructure and safeguarding our members' data. This week, a bug exploiting a serious security vulnerability in the Bash shell, called Shellshock, was published. This bug affected millions of computer systems.

Two RIPE NCC services, RIPE Atlas and ip-echo.ripe.net, were directly affected by this bug. These issues were resolved immediately after they were discovered.
All affected RIPE NCC servers have been patched.
We have found no evidence that the Shellshock bug was used to compromise any RIPE NCC system.
