RIPE NCC Webinars for Law Enforcement

The webinars, organised in collaboration with Europol and CEPOL (the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training), are tailored towards police, law enforcement and judiciary working in the area of cybercrime. The aim is to ensure that all participants gain a solid understanding of how various tools made available by the RIPE NCC, such as the RIPE Database and RIPEstat, can be used to retrieve information on IP addresses and other Internet number resources.

The modules commence with an overview of the basics before delving into more complex technical concepts and matters of policy.

The first webinar was a great success, with over 400 cybercrime agents from all over Europe taking part. The last webinar will take place at the end of June, and you'll be able to read a full report on the success of the complete webinar series on RIPE Labs soon afterwards.
