31 October 2022 – The RIPE NCC has requested an IPv6 allocation to use for its own infrastructure. The RIPE NCC pool of arbiters has decided, based on RIPE Policy Document ripe-635, "Allocating/Assigning Resources to the RIPE NCC", and RIPE Document ripe-738, “IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Policy”, that the request met the criteria for a /29 IPv6 allocation.
For more information on the RIPE NCC's initial request to the arbiters, and details of the arbiters' decision, see: IPv6 Allocation Request and Response (PDF, 94KB).
