Today, 29 September, the RIPE NCC experienced network problems that caused severe service interruptions.

The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) was held 26-27 September 2012 adjacent to the RIPE 65 Meeting in Amsterdam. There were 124 attendees, excluding RIPE NCC staff and observers from the other Regional Internet Registries (RIRs).

On 7 September 2012, the RIPE NCC received a fax from United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) questioning whether our relationships with Iranian RIPE NCC members are in violation of United Nations (UN) or European Union (EU) sanctions against Iran.

On Friday 14 September, 2012, the RIPE NCC, the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia, distributed the final IPv4 address space from its reserves of IPv4.

The RIPE NCC is pleased to announce that the latest issue of the Member Update is available online. This issue includes an update from the RIPE NCC Managing Director as well as articles on RIPE Atlas, IPv6 and the process for allocating the remaining IPv4 Space in the RIPE NCC service region.

The RIPE NCC has now entered phase one of its approach to reaching the last /8.

The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) September 2012 takes place on Wednesday, 26 September 2012. It will be held adjacent to the RIPE 65 Meeting, which takes place from 24-28 September 2012.
