RIPE NCC Open House: Hosted vs. Delegated RPKI

So you've decided that it's time to go beyond creating ROAs and you want to deploy RPKI on your network. If you would like to learn more about the differences between hosted RPKI and delegated RPKI and their use cases, join us for this RIPE NCC Open House with Nathalie Kunneke-Trenaman, Routing Security Programme Manager, RIPE NCC and Alex Band, Director of Product Development, NLNetLabs!
We will discuss different scenarios in which delegated RPKI could be useful, for example, large enterprises, NRENs and organisations that have gone through mergers and acquisitions. With delegated RPKI, you can run your own RPKI Certification Authority, manage your ROAs and publish them in your own repository. It also allows you to further delegate Certification Authorities.
Nathalie and Alex will answer your questions about how you should choose between hosted RPKI or delegated RPKI and you will get a short demo on how to use Krill as a software solution.

Alex Band, Director of Product Development, NLnet Labs: Alex Band is the Director of Product Development at NLnet Labs, a not-for-profit foundation with a long heritage in research and development, Internet architecture and governance, as well as stability and security in the area of DNS and inter-domain routing.
Nathalie Kunneke-Trenaman, Routing Security Programme Manager, RIPE NCC: Nathalie is the Routing Security Programme Manager for the RIPE NCC. She is responsible for all Routing Security related matters, including RPKI and IRR. To date, Nathalie has over 20 years of experience in technical roles such as IP Resource Analyst, Product Manager, Trainer and IPv6 Programme Manager, and serves on the board of NLNOG.

Gerardo Viviers, Senior Technical Training and Development Officer, RIPE NCC: Gerardo Viviers has been a trainer at the RIPE NCC since 2014. He has travelled throughout the RIPE NCC service region (Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia) to give training courses on a number of topics, including Local Internet Registries (LIRs), IPv6, and the Routing Registry.
