General Meeting - October 2016

The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) took place from 26-28 October 2016 in the Meliá Castilla Hotel in Madrid, Spain. The GM took place alongside the RIPE 73 Meeting.

The GM began with the presentation of the reports from the RIPE NCC in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session at 17:00 local time. The formal, members-only section of the GM started immediately after the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session.

Resolutions

The following resolutions were approved by the membership:

Resolution 1:

“The General Meeting adopts the amendments to the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2016 and RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2017. The amendments will take effect from the closing of this General Meeting onward and will have no retrospective effect.”

Resolution 2:

“The General Meeting approves the redistribution of the excess contribution paid in 2016 by redistributing the RIPE NCC 2016 surplus to the membership in 2017.”

Resolution 3:

“The General Meeting adopts the amendments to the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure.”
