Executive Board Election
In compliance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association (AoA), the RIPE NCC is calling for nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.
There will be an election to fill two vacant seats at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) on 13-15 May 2015. These two seats are for three-year terms.
The term for the following RIPE NCC Executive Board member expires at the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) in May 2015:
- Dmitry Burkov
A second seat will also become vacant following the RIPE NCC membership's approval in October 2013 of a resolution to expand the size of the Executive Board.
Those interested in standing for election to the board are advised to read the RIPE NCC Executive Board - Functions and Expectations.
Nominations
Executive Board nominees become candidates after receiving five nominations of support and are posted on the confirmed candidates page. A nomination for the appointment of a member of the Executive Board requires the written support of at least five members. You must be a RIPE NCC member and a registered LIR contact to support a nomination. Nomination submissions should include the following information:
- Your full name
- Your organisation
- Your LIR RegID
- Name of the candidate you wish to support
Nominations must be submitted by email to [email protected] by Wednesday, 22 April 2015, following the guidelines outlined in article 9 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.
