RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2009
The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) May 2009 was held on Wednesday, 6 May 2009 from 16:00- 20:00. The GM was held adjacent to the RIPE 58 Meeting, which took place from 4-8 May 2009 at the Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
There were 82 attendees, excluding RIPE NCC staff and observers from the other Regional Internet Registries.
Voting and Resolutions
Candidate members could attend the GM but were not allowed to vote according to article 16.7 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. Members who could not attend the GM could vote by means of proxy voting, as per article 16.
The meeting could only pass resolutions that were submitted and published according to article 15 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.
RIPE NCC Report May 2009
The RIPE NCC Report for the GM was presented in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session on Wednesday, 6 May 2009 from 16:00-17:30. GM attendees that were not registered for the RIPE Meeting were welcome to participate in this Working Group session. The RIPE NCC report was not repeated in the GM.

RIPE NCC Nominations for Executive Board Seat - May 2009
In compliance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association, the RIPE NCC called for nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. The vacant seat was for a three-year term to fill the place held by Dmitry Burkov, whose term expired in May 2009. Dmitry Burkov was elected by the members to retain his seat on the Executive Board.
