This session will explore the respective roles of the EU, its international partners and the technical community in shaping the future of Internet governance. Participants will assess how multi-level and multi-stakeholder approaches to Internet governance can best support the preparation and outcomes of the upcoming WSIS+20 review process.

This session will look into the development of international norms relevant to Internet governance at the UN level, including concepts and principles aimed at safeguarding the functionality, availability and integrity of the technical operations of the global Internet.
