Airport Transportation to Tehran

Tehran, the capital city of Iran is served by two airports: Mehrabad Airport and Imam Khomeini International Airport. The Mehrabad Airport is located at about 8 km from the city centre. Imam Khomeini International Airport is located approximately 50 km from the city centre.

Various taxis are available from the airport to help passengers travel to the city centre. Car agencies have their counters at the airport and provide car hire to passengers willing to have their own transport from the airport.

Visas must be obtained in advance. Make sure you allocate ample time for obtaining a Visa. It usually takes between 7-10 working days to process a Visa.
