Ucha Seturi
Ucha Seturi is a lawyer. He is a founder member of the Georgian Internet Governance forum and Georgian NOG and coordinating for the last years. He has been a member of the ISOC Georgia chapter since 2012, and since 2019, he has been a member of the UN Internet Governance Forum’s Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG).
He worked as a legal director of the Georgian SMP operator from 1999. After 2008, he moved to the Telecom Regulatory Body – Communication commission as a lawyer of the Strategic Planning and Market Regulation department. From 2012 he moved to the NGO sector and coordinated and monitored Digital Switchover and Broadband development projects. Since 2015 he has been a founder and chair of the Telecom Operators Association of Georgia. With the support of ISOC, from 2016, he has been a Coordinator of ISOC’s Tusheti Community Network project, and since 2018 he has been a coordinator Pshav-Khevsureti CN project. From 2020 he is a founder and a chairperson of noncommercial and nongovernmental Internet Exchange Assentation of Georgia and a coordinator of ISOC’s supported Georgian IXP project.
He is also a visiting lecturer at the Georgian Black Sea University of Media and Digital Law. He is an attorney at law and a member of the Georgian Bar Association from 2003 and has a private practice in Civil and Administrative law.
