Southeast Europe Country Report Published

news
Today we published a report on the state of the Internet in eight different countries in Southeast Europe. This is the fourth in a series of country reports we’re producing to share RIPE NCC data with members of the technical community and decision makers alike, in order to inform discussions about Internet development throughout our service region.
The Southeast Europe Country Report offers an analysis of the region’s current Internet number resource holdings and its history of development; examines Internet routing within the region and takes a close look at its access to the global domain name system (DNS); and investigates how the global Internet reaches networks within Southeast Europe. This analysis is based on what we can observe from the RIPE NCC’s measurement tools as well as a few external data sources.
You can download the report and learn more about its findings on RIPE Labs.
Please help us share the report with others you think may find it useful. If you’re invested in learning more, we’re hosting an online session to discuss the report’s findings and how they relate to relevant Internet governance issues in Southeast Europe on 28 April from 12:00-13:00 UTC. You can register here.
If you’d like to discuss the report’s findings or have requests for other data, please contact our External Relations team.
