RIPE NCC Blocks Registration in RIPE Registry Following Order from Dutch Police
•
news
The RIPE NCC received a temporary order from the Dutch police to prevent any changes from being made to a registration of four specific blocks of IPv4 address space in the RIPE Registry.
The order is effective from 8 November 2011 until 22 March 2012.
The RIPE NCC has informed those listed as contact persons for the address blocks named in the police order of the actions taken and their right to challenge the order in the Dutch courts.
The Dutch police take full responsibility for the consequences that could arise from the registration being temporarily locked.
