Gabor de Wit Appointed Chief Registry Operations Officer

RIPE Atlas: New Probe Detail Pages Now Live

After months of development and beta testing, we are excited to announce the launch of the revamped RIPE Atlas probe detail pages. This update was designed for a better user experience and to make RIPE Atlas probe interactions more insightful and meaningful for users. RIPE NCC Days Chișinău Registration Open and Call for Presentations

We will hold RIPE NCC Days in Chișinău, Moldova from 18-19 June 2025. Registration is now open for this event, as is the call for presentations. Sign up to attend and/or present and find out more about the event on our website.

RIPE 90 Second Call for Presentations

The RIPE Programme Committee has extended its call for content proposals for the plenary sessions, lightning talks and BoFs for RIPE 90. Both in-person and online presentations are encouraged. See more information and submit a proposal by 8 April (or by 2 May for lightning talks) on the meeting website.

The RIPE Labs Article Competition - RIPE 90

The RIPE Labs Article Competition is back, and submissions are now being accepted ahead of RIPE 90. Submit your article by 4 April 2025 at 21:00 UTC for a chance to win a trip to RIPE 90 this May. Check out the full competition rules for more information.

RIPE NCC and ITU Sign a Joint Declaration to Promote IPv6

On 7 March 2025, the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) signed a Joint Declaration with the RIPE NCC on ‘Promoting and Developing Internet Infrastructure, IPv6 Deployment and Capacity Building’.

4. Organisational Update

Register for the RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2025

Registration is open for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM), taking place from 14-16 May 2025 alongside the RIPE 90 Meeting in Lisbon and online. We encourage members to register so they can participate in discussions and cast their votes on key decisions and elections that shape the future of the RIPE NCC. At the upcoming GM, members will vote on the Executive Board election to fill two seats, the adoption of the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2024, the discharge of the RIPE NCC Executive Board, and the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2026.

Register by 14:00 (UTC+1) on 14 May 2025 in order to be able to vote. If you wish to be represented by a third party, please fill in the proxy form and submit it by 30 April 2025.

Call for Nominations – RIPE NCC Executive Board Election

At the RIPE NCC GM on 14 May 2025, there will be an election to fill two seats on the RIPE NCC Executive Board. Nominations are now open for candidates in the upcoming election. You can submit a nomination for a candidate until Wednesday, 23 April at 23:59 (UTC), and members can nominate themselves.

180th, 181st and 182nd RIPE NCC Executive Board Meetings

The RIPE NCC Executive Board held its 180th, 181st and 182nd meetings via email in February and March 2025. The minutes of the meetings are available along with summary notes.

Charging Scheme TF Update

The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme Task Force meets every two weeks. Please check the minutes that are posted to the members-discuss mailing list and provide your feedback on the discussions. The task force discusses your feedback at every meeting.
