Decommissioning of the Recognised IPv4 Transfer Brokers List and IPv4 Transfer Listing Service

Following a decision taken by the Executive Board in October 2023, the IPv4 Transfer Listing Service has now been decommissioned, and the Recognised IPv4 Transfer Brokers List has been removed from our website.

10 Years of Legacy Policy

Redesigned ripe.net Now Live

The redesigned version of www.ripe.net was released on 18 January. The website features a new design, new CMS and new servers and has improvements to accessibility, mobile and tablet views, the search function and overall performance. For any improvements and feedback, we invite you to join the discussion on the RIPE NCC Forum.

RIPE 88

-- Registration Open

Registration is open for RIPE 88, taking place in Krakow, Poland from 20 to 24 May 2024. You can register to attend in person or online.

-- Call for Proposals

The call for proposals is open for RIPE 88 until 11 March 2024. The meeting will be hybrid, so both in-person and remote proposals are welcome.

-- RIPE Fellowship

The RIPE Fellowship aims to remove the financial barrier to attend a RIPE Meeting by funding a full-week meeting ticket, travel and accommodation for selected candidates from the RIPE NCC service region. Apply by 25 February 2024 (23:59 UTC+1).

-- RACI

We are once again looking for talented academics in the field of Internet technology to present at RIPE 88 through the RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative (RACI). Successful applicants receive complementary tickets, accommodation and travel to the meetings and the opportunity to present their research. Apply by 25 February 2024 (23:59 UTC+1).

SEE 12 Call for Proposals

SEE 12 will be held in Athens, Greece, on 22-23 April 2024. The call for proposals for this meeting is open until 12 February.

CAPIF 3 Call for PC Members

CAPIF 3 will take place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from 24 to 25 September 2024. If you would like to join the Programme Committee and help create the meeting programme, apply by 31 January.

Policy Update

The Review Phase has been extended for 2023-04, “Add AGGREGATED-BY-LIR status for IPv4 PA assignments.” The deadline for comments is 15 February.

ASO AC / NRO NC Re-elects Chair for 2024

Hervé Clément has been re-elected by the ASO Address Council (ASO AC) to serve as the ASO AC/NRO NC Chair during 2024. Hervé will once again be assisted in his role by Nicole Chan (APNIC region) and Ricardo Patara (LACNIC region) as Vice Chairs.

2024 ICANN Board Seat 9 Elections: Comment Phase Open

The ASO AC has announced the candidates that have been nominated for Seat 9 on the ICANN Board of Directors. Any comments about the nominated candidates must be submitted by 23:59 UTC on 29 January 2024.

Learning and Development Update

Our webinars for the month of February are open for registration. We will hold webinars on Deploying RPKI, RIPE Database Basics, Basic IPv6 Protocol Security, IPv6 Addressing Plan, LIRs and the Internet Ecosystem and RIPE Database Applications.

Certified Professionals Vouchers

Members are now able to claim three Certified Professionals vouchers for each of their LIRs through the RIPE NCC Academy dashboard.
