RIPE NCC Quarterly Sanctions Transparency Report (Q2 2025) Published

Our latest Quarterly Sanctions Transparency Report (Q2 2025) is now available. These reports provide data on how RIPE NCC members, End Users and legacy resource holders are affected by sanctions, while respecting their confidentiality and privacy.

Removing all MD5 Hashed Passwords Not Used for Authentication in the Past Year

In Q2 2025, the RIPE NCC plans to remove all MD5 hashed passwords that have not been used for authentication in the past year, to reduce the risk of having so many MD5 hashes in the database in case of a data breach.

RIPE 90

Registration is open for RIPE 90, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal from 12-16 May. You can buy a ticket to attend in person or attend online for free.

RIPE Policy Development Update

RIPE Policy Proposal 2024-02, "IPv6 Initial Allocations /28” will advance to the Review Phase. The RIPE NCC is preparing the Impact Analysis.

RIPE NCC Days Chișinău

The next RIPE NCC Days will be held on 18-19 June 2025 in Chișinău, Moldova. If you live in the area, it’s a great opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and learn more about how they can receive support from the RIPE NCC.

Draft “RIR Governance Document” to Update ICP-2 Published

The NRO NC has published a draft version of a document that aims to update ICP-2: Criteria for Establishment of New Regional Internet Registries. We now invite your input on this draft. Please make sure to share your feedback by Tuesday, 27 May 2025 on RIPE Mailing list.

RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund Discontinued

For budgetary reasons, the RIPE NCC Executive Board decided to discontinue the Community Projects Fund at its 183rd meeting on 20-21 March. We would like to thank everyone who has worked with us on the RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund, particularly volunteers from the RIPE community who served on the Selection Committee, and our funding recipients for their efforts to make the Internet better for all.

Organisational Update

General Meeting

The spring RIPE NCC General Meeting will take place in Lisbon from 14-16 May 2025. Register for the meeting and exercise your voting rights as a member.

At the upcoming GM, members can vote on:

- The Executive Board Election to fill two seats

- Proposed amendments to the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure

- Adoption of the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2024

- Discharge of the RIPE NCC Executive Board

- The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2026

Meet the RIPE NCC Executive Board Candidates

There will be three candidates standing for election to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.

Draft Charging Scheme 2026 Published

For 2026, we are submitting a draft charging scheme with no changes compared to 2025. Read the original announcement from our Chief Financial Officer.

Draft Report of the Charging Scheme Task Force Published

The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme Task Force has published a draft report outlining proposed principles for a new charging model. Members are invited to review the draft and share feedback via the Members Discuss list or at the General Meeting on 14 May.

Annual Report 2024 and Financial Report 2024 Published

We have published the RIPE NCC Annual Report 2024, which documents the activities of the RIPE NCC throughout the year, as well as the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2024, which documents the financial activities of the RIPE NCC for the same period. These reports are part of the Supporting Documents for the General Meeting.

Minutes of the 183rd Executive Board Meeting Published

The minutes of the 183rd Executive Board meeting have been published, along with a summary of the main items from the meeting.

RIPE NCC Report: Law Enforcement Authority Requests 2024

Our 2024 report on Law Enforcement Authority Requests is now available. The report details the nature and number of requests we received from Law Enforcement Agencies in 2024 and how we responded.

Online Partial Payment Option Introduced for RIPE NCC Members

We’ve introduced a partial payment option via our online system to support members, especially those in distressed regions like Ukraine, who face challenges paying larger euro amounts.

Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs Visits the RIPE NCC

On 11 April 2025, representatives from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs paid a working visit to the RIPE NCC Office in Amsterdam to learn more about the organisation’s role and operations.

Office Hours May and June 2025

Our Amsterdam office will be closed on Monday, 5 May for Liberation Day, Thursday, 29 May for Ascension Day, and on Monday, 9 June for Whit Monday.
