In April 2017, the RIPE NCC celebrates 25 years as a Regional Internet Registry (RIR), providing registry and coordination services for the RIPE community. We are proud to have reached this quarter-century landmark, which in Internet industry terms is quite an achievement.

The RIPE NCC held a Train-the-Trainer session in Tehran, Iran from 25 February to 1 March 2017.

From 6-7 March 2017, the RIPE NCC held a meeting for Ukrainian Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in Kiev.

On 1 March 2017, the RIPE NCC and other Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) were each allocated the equivalent of a /19 of IPv4 address space from the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).
