The call for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill two seats on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) closed on 30 October 2023 and by 6 November the candidate information was published as well as the statements of support.
The RIPE NCC Executive Board (the Board) is responsible for appointing one candidate from the list of nominees to be the Board selection for a three-year term, starting in January 2024 and ending on 31 December 2026.
The Board appreciated all the nominated candidates and carefully assessed them. They unanimously agreed to re-appoint Hervé Clement, noting they were pleased with his work during his previous terms as the Board-appointed representative on the NRO NC. The remaining nominees will be eligible for election for the other seat of the NRO NC for the remainder of the three-year term started by James Kennedy in January 2023 and ending on 31 December 2025. That election will take place during RIPE 87.

The RIPE NCC Executive Board appoints Hervé Clement to the Number Resource Organization Numbers Council (NRO NC), representing the RIPE NCC service region. Hervé Clement’s term will begin on 1 January 2024 and end on 31 December 2026.
The RIPE NCC Executive Board unanimously adopted the resolution.
