ripe whois -s dbname question

Hi,
we have four db's set up right now, MERITRR, RIPE, PRDB and TESTRR.
All search line includes all but TESTRR.
CANUPD includes all but RIPE.

I can add things to TESTRR, but how can I get ripe's whois perl script
to search in that db?   I tried, eg,
  /u2/rrdb/dbase-beta/bin/whois -s TESTRR 35.0.0.0
but I just get what is in the MERITRR db instead of whats in TESTRR
(or I get nothing if its not in MERITRR or others but only in TESTRR).

Is there a way to do whois queries to see what is in a specific
db, and in particular in a db that is not in the All-search chain?
