adding new attributes (and objects)

As Tony said, the ATSQ lines defines the object and print order.

No problem. If the ripe format is a subset of yours, everything will
work. Of course the best would be to try and keep all objects aligned.

 *    write out objects without attributes you don't have.

Yes, if the objects have different attributes, these will have to be
filtered out (not really possible, a config that does not
understand some attributes will simply skip them, ie if we read your
db with extra attributes with our config, the extra attributes are
skipped in printing).
