Hi all, Note, if you run a validator on your laptop from the open WiFi you will not get very far, because rsync connections are blocked. Rsync is still the mandatory to implement protocol for RPKI publication servers. There is work done to move to the 'RRDP' delta protocol, based on https*. RIPE NCC and APNIC support this, but the other RIRs not yet. Not all validators support this. The NCC validator does, but for routinator this is on the roadmap for the next release. In short: when playing with validators you're best of using a network that allows outbound rsync connections. The tesuto platform should allow this. I will look into setting up a running routinator there.
