I too would like to apologise to the list, to my friends and to the RIPE
community in general. I allowed my concern to overflow into what with
hindsight was an ad hominem attack on Nurani. I've been using email for
more years than I care to remember and I still overlook the fact that a
tone of voice and a smile don't get transmitted along with the bald
words. To Nurani I apologise unreservedly. To you, my friends, please
accept this as a promise to try to do better.

Those of you who deal with me regularly may have noticed that I'm a
little more hair-triggered than usual. There are a few things going on
health-wise and personally that are at the root of this. They may or may
not be fixable, but they are no excuse for bad behaviour in public.
