Dear Vesna and all, great and thanks a lot. Judging and T-Shirts ar perfect. The Quantum Judging answer made my day … "neither AND both!” - perfectly fine with us, we really like the competition approach and do the same in our hacks. Will upload logos and contact address Cheers, Daniel > On 23 Sep 2019, at 16:01, Vesna Manojlovic <BECHA at ripe.net> wrote: > > Hi Daniel, all, > > great to hear all these positive reactions - so here are some replies > inline: > >> Join the conf. call 24th ? > > YES > >> Is there a chance to have Mentors be part of the Hackathon? > > Yes - that's great - go ahead! > > On 20/09/2019 12:58, Daniel Adam Dobos wrote: >> Hello Europe - hallo PEQI team, >> >> Geneva, Switzerland calling - twelve points / douze points to all of you >> - sorry wrong event! >> >> Really amazing response - and from our point we would than propose >> following: >> >> - We make an event on the 5-6 Nov - we looked at all the documents at >> Trello, especially the 'Logistic and Planning' one is really nice and as >> we have the space that fullfills all this easily and is often used for >> hackathons - it makes it quite simple https://ideasquare.web.cern.ch/ …. > > Perfect ! > >> We have only few questions for that? >> - Is the Jury local or global across all locations (sorry if we missed >> that, sure it is written somewhere)? > > It's a tricky question: the answer is quite quantum: neither AND both! > > - Since it's not a competition, the jury doesn't matter > - BUT, since people like to receive feedback & tips & praises, the jury, > IMHO, should be BOTH local, AND there can be some-kind of "consensus" > about "the most promising project" among all 6-nodes jurors.. > > This was answered on email "notes from 10th September": > > "local jurors are "judging" local teams; > > there *might* be a decision of "all jurors" about "one winning > project/team" -- but!! > 1. it's not a competition!! > 2. from 5x5 projects, there will be MORE THEN ONE *great* project!!" > > Can you agree on that? > >> - the T-Shirts costs is to be covered by us?
