What We're Doing For You -- LIR Stats Number of LIRs: 23,699 (+97) LIRs with IPv6: 16,260 (+138) IPv4 Addresses Transferred in July: 527,104 (-1,118,464) -- Membership Survey on Charging Scheme Principles The RIPE NCC Executive Board is asking for feedback from the membership to help them formulate the principles of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme: https://www.ripe.net/publications/news/announcements/membership-consultation-on-charging-scheme-principles The survey will close on 14 September 2021. -- What do you think of our new user interface (UI)? Help us improve the user interface (UI) of our services by taking part in our short survey and sharing your feedback. It will only take you three minutes to complete! Your Technical Update -- RIPE NCC and the Cloud: Draft Principles, Requirements and Strategy Framework How is the RIPE NCC using third-party cloud providers to support its services? Our draft cloud strategy framework aims to bring everything together in a way that sets out some boundaries and identifies critical elements: https://labs.ripe.net/author/felipe_victolla_silveira/ripe-ncc-and-the-cloud-draft-principles-requirements-and-strategy-framework/ -- RPKI On 14 September, we will update rpki-validator.ripe.net to replace the RIPE NCC RPKI Validator with Routinator. This will change the user interface. More information will be shared with the Routing Working Group in the coming weeks. -- RIPEstat --- More resilient RIPEstat UIs Both RIPEstat UIs are now using dedicated endpoints for sourcing data. This makes them more resilient in cases of increased demand. --- RIPEstat UI updated with new features We are continuing to improve the RIPEstat UI based on user feedback and feature requests. What's Happening in Our Community? -- RIPE Labs In August, RIPE Labs featured articles from community members on human rights and the Internet, IPv6 capability in gaming, zero trust architecture, traceroutes and transparency for the digital economy: https://labs.ripe.net/ -- Code of Conduct Task Force Session The Code of Conduct Task Force will hold a virtual session to get input from the RIPE community on its updated draft RIPE Code of Conduct on 1 September 2021 at 16:00 (UTC+2).
