[Apologies for duplicate e-mails] Dear RIPE NCC member, The Executive Board of the RIPE NCC Association is pleased to invite you to the General Meeting (GM) of the RIPE NCC membership. The GM will be held adjacent to the RIPE 54 Meeting on Wednesday, 9 May 2007 at: Meeting Venue: Sokos Hotel Viru Viru Väljak 4 10111 Tallinn Estonia Telephone: +372 680 9300 Fax: +372 680 9236 Date: Wednesday, 9 May 2007 Time: 17:15 - 18:30 EET (UTC +2 hours) Registration for the RIPE Meeting does not include registration for the GM. You must register separately. GM Registration opens on Wednesday, 28 March 2007. You can attend the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session and the GM without being registered for the RIPE 54 meeting. A regularly updated list of registered GM attendees will be published on the RIPE NCC web site. When you arrive at the GM, you will receive a meeting folder containing your membership status, voting slips and details on your voting rights. RIPE NCC Reports The RIPE NCC reporting for the GM will be presented in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group. GM attendees who have not registered for the RIPE Meeting are welcome to participate in this working group session. This takes place on Wednesday, 9 May 2007 from 16:00 - 17:00. The RIPE NCC reports will not be repeated in the General Meeting. Voting and Resolutions Candidate members are welcome to attend the GM but are not permitted to vote according to article 16.3 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. Members who are not able to attend the GM but still want to vote can do so by means of proxy voting as per article 16.4. To nominate a proxy voter, please follow instructions on: http://www.ripe.net/membership/gm/gm-may2007/proxy.html Please also note that the GM can only pass resolutions that have been submitted and published according to articles 15.3 and 15.4 of the RIPE NCC Articles of Association.
