If you just need minimal resources, you can also get sponsored by a friendly
LIR, it is usually cheaper.
Becoming a LIR is not something I would do for fun or hobby. If you want to be
really "independent" then there is cost you should be ready to assume. And
everyone in the RIPE region is at the same table.`
