So it was you who voted to distribute resources right and left and ignored the problem of their shortage in the future! It's time to pay! This was a joke! ---- It doesn't matter what happened, we have to decide what will happen. It seems to me that the issue will never be resolved with the current approach to voting and meetings. Less than 10% of the RIPE members vote . And the decision is actually made by 3% of the NCC participants. Most of them have their own interests. It looks like a dead end. There are 20 active people in this discussion, the rest are either only listeners or do not even know that it is being conducted. We are trying to solve a problem of a "cosmic scale" with the help of a digging stick. It is necessary to have a great will and desire from the leadership of the NCC to change something. But apparently now is not the time. Everything will be resolved by itself after the modern world order collapses. We just have to wait. --- SDY > On 29/03/2024 14:49, Gert Doering wrote: > > IUCC was the first paying member to RIPE NCC in 1995 (since we realized > the importance of supporting such a fledgling organization) and we have > paid for our resources for the past 29 years. > > See attached (page 3 of 4 pages - if anyone wants to see the full 4 page > document - drop me an email off-list). > > Regards, > Hank >> >>> Hi, >>> >>> On Thu, Mar 28, 2024 at 07:04:30PM +0100, Andrea Borghi wrote: >>>> My humble proposal is to class basing on how many additional >>>> resources a >>>> company have beyond the basics that was valid at the time of joining >>>> Ripe. >>> >>> ... and possibly how old these resources are... we got our blocks in >>> 1995/1996, and they are considered "large" by today's standards.
