Dear Friends & Colleagues, The email has been received by the board and will be fully considered following the ongoing assessment of the legal and tax impacts of the request. We have already stated in an email to our Ukrainian members that we will not close any Ukrainian LIRs due to missing payments during the war. Following your request, the board will have a discussion on fully waiving the fees, not only postponing them. I will get back to you as soon as the board has discussed your request. In the meantime let me extend my deep-felt wish that the war and the suffering caused by it will soon be over. We have a war going on in our country, with the Russian army firing heavy missiles into cities. Infrastructure is constantly being destroyed, it has to be rebuilt under fire. Income payments dropped down in a order of magnitude. We are asking RIPE NCC members and the organization itself to consider zeroing payments to RIPE NCC in 2022 for Ukrainian members. > > Looking forward to the future fruitful cooperation and successful working relationship! > > Respectfully, > > Oleksandr Savchuk > Chairman of the Board of Ukrainian Internet Association > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > > > > > -- > kind regards, > Serge Pershin mailto:serge at ix.net.ua<Ref. №34.pdf>_______________________________________________ > members-discuss mailing list > members-discuss at ripe.net > https://mailman.ripe.net/ > Unsubscribe: https://lists.ripe.net/mailman/options/members-discuss/hph%40ripe.net
