Dear colleagues!

The Ukrainian Internet Association (UIA) is the largest Internet-association in Ukraine: It unites more than 230 members, 70% of which are telecom operators. For more than 20 years, the Association has been implementing projects aimed at developing the Ukrainian segment of the global Internet and protecting the interests of its members.

Let us express our sincere gratitude for RIPE NCC's efforts to maintain the stability of the Internet in our region and to coordinate and develop the interactions within the Internet community. We would like to note that the Ukrainian segment of the Internet does not stand apart from these activities.

Now Ukrainian Internet Association and all Ukrainian ISPs are appealing to the RIPE community for help. We have a war going on in our country, with the Russian army firing heavy missiles into cities. Infrastructure is constantly being destroyed, it has to be rebuilt under fire. Income payments dropped down in a order of magnitude. We are asking RIPE NCC members and the organization itself to consider zeroing payments to RIPE NCC in 2022 for Ukrainian members.
