Difference being, that the RIPE NCC isn't supposed to make more revenue than they need to run the show. SixXS was trying to promote IPv6 by exactly doing something similar: listing offerings that are available via IPv6. Maybe we should wish for NNTP to become more popular again. It's one of the things, that's easy to get on IPv6 (for free), not so on IPv4. But again .. this may be the perfect approach: - get large content providers .. like Netflix .. who offer subscription based services maybe to offer discounted packages, if you're on IPv6. But only being able to connect to your service via IPv6 then. They'd still make money and it might actually get some people off their deck chairs.
