Stuart, The RIRs had extensive discussions about the revised IPv6 policies during the IETF this week. We hope to have a new draft out during the next two weeks, certainly before the RIPE40 Meeting. Please take into account that the APNIC had no chance yet to discuss this with their community. The next APNIC meeting will take place during the last week of August. I will attend that meeting to give the same presentation you have seen at RIPE39. As we agreed that we will do our best to develop IPv6 allocation policy that is applicable globally, the process needs to include all RIR communities. However, the current discussion on the list is more than welcome to support that process. Recommendations and suggestions made by the RIPE community can then already be take into consideration for the discussions at the APNIC meeting.
