Marco is being modest here. The liaison statement that was sent to the IETF is a direct result of the fine work Marco and his colleagues from ARIN did at last month's SG20 meeting in Geneva. Says someone who was in the room when those decisions were taken.

We (Marco and I) offered to help the author of SG20’s IPv6 document bring it to RIPE, possibly at RIPE76. Let’s see if that invitation is accepted.
