well, we might be at the rough edge here.  The note Sam referred to
was probably my list of questions, but that didn't mean I expressed an
(equal) opinion to all of those options.
That said, the IANA TAR shouldn't prefer a particular DNS vendor,
but I'm not convinced that it is a good _requirement_ not to ask for,
say, the SEP bit.  Some consistency checks won't be too bad, but the
exact form was and is out of the scope of this task force.
