Dear all, I was still thinking about this, as I did speak in public several times (TTM updates long time ago, chairing NLUUG sessions) and I think the thing that got me off balance was hearing myself through the PA system. I also have a bad time with bad phone connections in where I can hear myself talking. Maybe it could be a part of the mentoring program / newcomers introduction to live test the mic in a more relaxed environment, so one gets comfortable with the acoustics. > On 28 May 2019, at 10:12, Amanda Gowland <agowland at ripe.net> wrote: > >> * The piloting of slido for getting more questions than the speakers, than just besides the mic. I think it's important to acknowledge that we have a lot of different thinkers in our community, not all are confident queuing up at the mic but that doesn't mean their contribution is less worthy. I hope that the PC/WG Chair collective keep using it. > Best Regards, Ruben -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
