SUMMARY: There is a problem with updating the Whois Database.

AFFECTED:

    Anyone submitting an update to the Whois Database.

DESCRIPTION:

   Since about 2:00 CET, there has been a problem with updating the
Whois Database.

   The service has been stopped. We should be able to restart it
shortly. Apologies for any problems this may be causing.

   We are investigating the problem. We will let you know as soon as we
have resolved the problem, or have more information.
