Greetings. At the San Diego IETF meeting, it was decided that there was a desire to continue the discussion of updating the whois protocol. In the BOF, the address of this list was given for the discussion. Clearly, this list has lots of discussion that is not relevant to the whois update discussion, and vice versa. Because of this, I have set up a new list just for discussing the update to the whois protocol. Subscription information for the new list can be found at <http://www.imc.org/ietf-whois/>.
