Re: [anti-spam-wg] Anti-spam WG chair

Rodney,

I'm sorry to say that I have to step aside as Chair of the
RIPE anti-spam Working Group. The reasons are personal; I
can no longer make available the resources to do the job
properly.

To echo here what I have said elsewhere, it is a great pity
that you are standing down as the work you have done as
chair of the working group has been invaluable. Thank you.

So, what happens next?
We have to find a new chair, and volunteers are welcome.

And this is the point in the mail at which I volunteer.
After several years active involvement in the working group
and attendance at RIPE meetings I feel I have a good idea of
what is required of a WG chair and that I would be able to
undertake those duties.

Obviously there will be further discussion on this at the
WG meeting later today, but obviously putting my name
forward here is also necessary.

Regards,

Brian.
