Sure, comments and input are vital for this process. the communication with other RIRs and their LIRs is important. But: but RIPE NCC members should really be able to decide, what theye are doing with there resources and how they are giving them to their members. I just remember Tobias' last drafts, they someehow simply "ended". I do not remember, that a vote was taking place. How can that happen at all ? I have an idea: I gonna pay about 5000 people worldwide 10$ if they vote for, that small LIRs do not have to pay for the services anymore and just the big ones have to pay. 5000 people worldwide will mean consensus in the RIPE community. And I will have all the small LIRs on me side too. And I will save money in a couple of years. Or think about: spammers paying the community to give them more IPs ... absolutly legaly.
